You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone

Parent peer support connects you with a trained Parent Peer, a parent who has been through their own child’s mental health or behavioral challenges.

They work alongside you to understand what’s going on, explore your options, and figure out what to do next.

Through lived experience and professional training, Parent Peers help families understand their options, prepare for important conversations, and move forward with clarity.

No diagnosis is required to reach out.

All services are free and confidential.

How Parent Peers Support You

Parent Peers work alongside you — not in place of you.

Support may include:

Identifying practical strategies for daily challenges

Organizing next steps when things feel unclear

You remain the decision-maker for your child. Parent peer support strengthens your ability to advocate with confidence.

What Happens When You Reach Out?

Your first conversation focuses on what feels most important right now.

Some parents connect once for a specific need. Others stay in touch over time as new questions arise.

Your Parent Peer will listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you sort through possible next steps.

You set the pace. Support continues as long as it is helpful to you.

Who Reaches Out?

Parents reach out when something about their child isn’t working the way it used to, or when they’re not sure what to do next.

  • School avoidance or not wanting to go to school

  • Behavior challenges at home or school

  • Mood changes or emotional ups and downs

  • Conflict with schools or providers

  • Situations involving law enforcement

Some children have a diagnosis. Some do not. You don’t need one to reach out.

If something about your child’s behavior or mental health has you concerned, you are welcome here.
